· He is a ginseng hunter.
· He did not know the Bobo family but knew of Holly’s abduction.
· On December 7th, 2014, he was hunting for ginseng.
· He knew this area was a good place to hunt for ginseng because his father had been pouring concrete in this area previously, and he or his father had seen ginseng.
· He identifies a photo of the area.
· He states he walked into the woods, realized he had forgotten bug spray, returned to the truck, found a ginseng plant he put in his fanny pack, and turned and walked a different way. He stopped, rested, walked some more, found another ginseng plant, and saw a bucket. He walked to the bucket, picked it up, and he got a feeling “telling [him] to turn around.”
· He turned around and found Holly’s skull. His cousin was about 300 yards away, also hunting ginseng. After three tries of trying to yell, he called his cousin, saying he found remains. He began crying.
· He said, “I think this is Holly,” at that point.
· He called law enforcement, and was very emotional, and broke down, unable to speak. He had his cousin speak on the phone since he couldn’t speak
· TBI, as well as two county law enforcement agencies and Brent Booth arrived, and they took his formal statement.
