· He noticed Zach had visible scratches on his arms, knees, and legs. Zach agreed to let him photograph the scratches, and the photos were identified in court.
· The pictures show Zach smiling with large linear scratches on his arm.

He gave him his cell phone number, social security number, and drivers’ license number, and disclosed that he had a former girlfriend named Rebecca Earp.
· Zach gave them consent to search his house “as long as he was with [him].” He also allowed them to look underneath his house, which he noted “did not appear recently disturbed.”
· He states they were there for around an hour and spoke to Dick and Dylan Adams.
