· He tried to locate the Bobo residence and witnessed law enforcement in the driveway.
· He spoke with someone he knew who was exiting the Bobo driveway.
· This person told him what had been found on Gooch Road.
· He was familiar with that part of the county, and, in his mind, an item found on Gooch Road indicates someone was heading toward the interstate.
· He drove slowly on other roads in that same direction, searching for odd or pink items.
· He saw a pink item on the right side of the road, stopped, and identified pink underwear.
· He called the sheriff’s department and spoke with Detective Ricky Inman.
· He responded but did not say what he had found over a phone as he thought that would be “improper.”
· Law enforcement met him at the location he found the underwear.
· A photo is showed of the underwear lying on the right side of a road.
· Agent Brent Booth showed up at the scene, and he called for other agents.
· He states he also found a wad of paper in the same area while Agent Booth was waiting with the underwear for other agents to arrive.
· He was present when Agent Booth unfolded the paper, which had Holly Bobo’s name and address on it. It was one of her school papers.
· He states the residence down the road was Shayne Austin’s mobile home.
